Woodstock House

Location: Catskills, NY
Project Type: Net-Zero Energy New Construction

Perched on Ticetonyk Mountain in the Catskills, this net-zero home blends bold geometry with environmental sensitivity. Designed to frame views of the northern valley and southern rock outcropping, the house rises in two opposing volumes, maintaining constant dialogue with the landscape.

Black metal cladding and warm cedar siding create a striking, modern form that echoes its surroundings. Inside, triple-pane windows, solar panels, and deep overhangs drive energy efficiency, while polished concrete floors and minimalist detailing reflect a commitment to simplicity and durability.

The heart of the home—its walnut kitchen—anchors a seamless living experience that carries through custom built-ins to the primary suite. A floating wall and sculptural Japanese soaking tub define the spa-like bathroom, wrapped in soft Moroccan plaster.
