A powder room created an uncomfortable L-shaped kitchen. By removing the powder room, we opened the kitchen creating a large breakfast bar with a decorative pendant chandelier and wine fridge, ideal for entertaining. Rather than try to match the existing cabinetry and stone, we created a contrasting, furniture-like island to emphasize the difference.
