In this project, the homeowners wanted a large open kitchen that was light, bright, functional and inviting for their young family. To achieve an open and airy feel for this kitchen, we removed all of the ceiling soffits, and the large, wrap around peninsula to create a better flow. We replaced the flooring throughout the house with white oak floor with a clear coat finish. We added a large island with beautiful quartz countertops that were ideal for this young families' needs. We added layered lighting by way of recessed lights and pendants over the island. Light and bright colored cabinets and new appliances finished off the space to create a wide open kitchen design.
