Rhythm-Gradation: This is a good example of rhythm with gradation because it is showing how the the shelves going down the wall keep getting shorter and shorter.

Why I picked this shelf picture to represent gradation is because not only can be gradation be the flow of something light to dark but it can also be something large to small. These shelves start off at a longer length and gets smaller each shelf. This creates a more unique and patterned like look instead of having them all one length

This shelf shows gradation as the length in the shelf increases as it goes up making your eyes travel in progress with the shelf. The gradual increase in the element drags your eyes up or downward with the shelf.
