Historic Transformation Transitional Entry, Chicago
Morgante Wilson Architects installed intricate trim in this Foyer to add to the formal nature of the space. The walls have a faux finish applied to them in a light gray tone.

It is a great look. We sell two products that are created for this very look. Our Venato 12x12" polished is used in the attached pictures (it is the white tile). The Venato 12x12" is designed to have a whiter base and when paired with our Nero Marquina polished 12x12" (the black tile in the attached pictures) creates the perfect Harlequin floor.
Our Carrara Venato 12x12" polished is $7.00 a square foot: http://www.thebuilderdepot.com/cavema12sutipol.html
Our Nero Marquina 12x12" polished is $7.95 a square foot: http://www.thebuilderdepot.com/blk-12x-pol-prs.html
Prices are valid through 2014.

Icbugs, 12x12 would be good for an even look like this one; 12x18 would give you more of a brick pattern. We'd recommend discussing the most appropriate texture with your supplier. Thank you for your interest in Morgante Wilson, and we hope this helps with your project!

Than you so much for your speedy reply. I was leaning towards the 12 x 12 tiles. The supplier suggested 18 x 18. I thought these would be too large and over powering for
my 12 by 18 room. In your opinon am I making the correct decision ? This is my one time investment. I value your response.

Thank you for your question, this foyer is very large and located in a significantly sized historic home. Although we do not recall the specific size of this room, it looks to be in excess of 15 x 15 based upon the floor tile.

Karle13, unfortunately we did not do the interior design for this project so we do not have that information. Sorry we could not be of more help to you! Thank you for your interest in MWA.

Ellen, it may have come up as yellow due to the flowers. We do not have this image tagged as either of those colors, but thank you for notifying us.

what size marble tile is that? I think I need 8x8 honed for my space but I can't seem to find it anywhere. 12x12 might be too big to look good
