Kim,

As others said, 8 x 8” is hard to find in Vinyl.

Black & white squares, continuous vinyl sheet, with each small square measuring 9.75" x 9.75"

Amtico, an English company, designs LVT tile. I used it decades ago, and after 22 years it still looked great. It is still designed in England and available in England. But in the USA it is is manufactured and sold under the Mannington brand. In fact, I’m using it again on a current project.

In most cases, Amtico square tiles are either 12 x 12 or 18 by 18 inches.

England’s Amtico website:

http://www.amtico.com/flooring

LVT with bevel edges (most, if not all) shows the range of choices. If you are in England you can get free samples through the web site.

In the US, Amtico is sold under the Mannington “commercial” brand. Link here:

http://www.mannington.com/commercial/lvt.aspx?filter=amtico

No free samples for USA individuals, but I asked my kitchen designer to request them through her company and they were promptly sent at no cost.

Hope you find what you want.

I have spent many hours looking on the internet, asking customer service on websites and even getting a few samples but I just can't find it.

I think I had these counter tops- honed granite. Very difficult to keep clean and very dark.

I wished I didn't get talked out of white marble. Even with wine stains, I think it looks great.

It is honed granite. We didn't find any issues with keeping it clean. It was actually very easy. Though, they are very dark so if a speck of dust will bother you, they aren't for you. Thanks.

There is a tile keyword on the photo and you can just make out the edges of the tiles in the photo, but I am not certain of the brand. Good luck in your search!

I'm looking at my fan deck and it sure could be that color. Keeping in mind that yellows often look brighter on the wall, you could also look at Mellow Yellow/2020-50 for a slightly more subdued option. The yellow, black and white in this kitchen are FAB!

Classic black and white linoleum is my personal fave, especially when done on the diagonal.

Lemon. When it comes to the heart of the home, yellow isn't just for a classic country-style kitchen. Cheery lemon-yellow makes any kitchen more inviting. Combining yellow, black and white is an exciting, stylish color scheme that always works ... and I'm totally loving the checkerboard flooring in this space. Ceramic TileThe quintessential kitchen flooring surface, ceramic tile is a fail-safe bet for just about any style and budget. Your options for color, size, shape and pattern are virtually limitless, so you can create the look that suits you best, whether that’s sleek and contemporary or lavish Old World.Pros: Ceramic tile stands up to wear and tear, from muddy footprints to spills and splashes, like a champ and is supereasy to clean. The huge variety of low-priced options makes it one of the most affordable flooring choices. And thanks to tile’s modular, DIY-friendly nature, you can easily come up with a custom pattern even on a tight budget.Cons: Tile can crack as floors settle, and a dish or glass dropped on it is virtually guaranteed to shatter. It also can be cold and hard underfoot, so use a rug or a cushioned mat to offset the discomfort. Moisture makes tile slippery; a honed or textured surface can provide slightly more traction. Grout needs periodic sealing and special cleaning to keep stains at bay.Cost: About $3 to $8 per square foot, uninstalled. How to Shop for Ceramic Tile
Julia Pockett added this to Tricky Yellow — Friend or Foe?
While old wives' tales claim that babies cry more in a yellow room and partners will argue more in a yellow kitchen, but these have yet to be scientifically proven. I say if you like it, go with it — but perhaps exercise caution and steer clear of those vivid lemon yellows.
