My hope is to have at least half the house painted before we move in. Painting an empty house is so much easier than painting one full of furniture, clothes, etc. When we purchased our last house all it's walls were beige and I couldn't wait to add some color to it. To this day, I still love my stratford blue living room but our new house is our forever home and I'm looking for more of a timeless paint scheme. Revere Pewter / Vanilla Milkshake seems perfect. Plus this combo makes a great background for pops of color in accessories.

@ Lucinda Congrats on the new home. I am now in the same boat. Love revere pewter but I keep hearing about trim being painted to white dove. Was wondering did you end up the combo you wanted? Do you love it? Would love to see some pics :)? Thank you.

Michael, I am thinking of buying the exact same 82 inch table. My worry is that it is so big and wide. Can 4 or 6 people sit around that without feeling a mile apart? is it just too big unless 10 people sitting there? Thank you.

I absolutely love your work! The neutral palettes you work with create such elegant rooms. I'm thinking of painting my living/dining room in BM Revere Pewter. The foyer and hallway receives a lot less light...should I also paint it in Revere Pewter or would you recommend a lighter colour?

Thanks - sounds like a great combination. My only concern is the beige island; by that do you mean a light colored wood or is the island painted. As long as the Revere Pewter works with the island color and I am sure it will you have your palette. Send me some pictures please.

Thanks for the reply. It's a painted beige with a glaze, I've attached a picture below. It's still under construction, floors will be a similar color to the darker cabinets and granite will be River Bordeaux (photo attached). Originally we selected Putty by Restoration Hardware's Child collection - but open to anything! One other thing worth mentioning, there is a far amount of trim (double crown and added backband on windows and and arches). Thanks again and in advance!
