Debra, I can't yet say what the price will be, as we're still waiting for the pieces to come together. The seats shown are original - they are a zinc covered cast iron. We will mimic the shape, but not the material. Several seats will be available, starting with leather covered and finished wood. I don't know about the countertops... photo is in the country home of SF designer Ken Fulk.

Actually, if you look back at the reply to one of the first questions about these stools, you will find a reply by David Allen of Arte fact Finds, you will get the answer. They are marine springs from a dock in San Francisco Bay.

I would look for springs like that off of equipment that does heavy hauling. Perhaps a large dump truck. I know the ones off of semi-trucks are not large enough.

Not positive about these particular lights, but Barn Light Electric has a good selection of similar looking fixtures.

Style Secret: The Art of SalvageIndustrial style erases the line between trash and treasure and reveals beauty in everyday flotsam. Singular finds with emphatic lines and forms, from old parking meters and typewriter tables to overscale bolts and gears, give the look its characteristic strength. And if they look a little shopworn, so much the better. Smart strategy: Honestly, it's hard to go wrong here. If a striking object or a collection of pieces speaks to you, display it with pride. You can create greater impact by grouping like objects together or turning salvaged finds into furniture.

5. Give charm and character to reclaimed wood, industrial-style. Reclaimed wood looks great with industrial style, but grays and browns can get dark and heavy. Whitewashing reclaimed wood is a great way to brighten an industrial space, a piece of furniture or even cabinetry. Whitewash allows you to keep the age and texture of reclaimed wood and can add more character. After sanding back the whitewash, add a clear glaze, or wood sealer to seal drawers and cabinets. Avoid oil-based sealers, which can turn yellow.Find bar stools
