The lighting is attached with eyelet bolts to the cement wall and plugged in at the roof of the house.
We had prepared the electrical to accommodate Christmas/seasonal lights.

This courtyard sits just outside the entrance to the home.
It appears sunken as it is situated on a sloped lot, and this is at the top of the property, or front entrance and sits adjacent to the driveway and garage, but has been landscaped for privacy.
It is 16 x 12 ft.

I don't believe we sealed the exterior concrete on this project,
but you can source a clear, flat sealer through www.brockwhite.com which we used on the interior concrete in this same project.

The lights are all separate strands attached by an eyelit hook on the concrete wall,
and then plugged in on the roof which was prepared for Christmas/seasonal lighting.
