What Houzz contributors are saying:
Louise Lakier added this to My Houzz: Small, Vivid Island Home in Washington
The bookshelves were added after Lewis and Dean moved in permanently. Demyanovich screwed boards into the beams overhead to create this space-saving shelf.
Christine Ciarmello added this to Bye-Bye, Boring Bookcase: Inventive Ways to Store Your Reads
Here we see the ceiling beams being used ingeniously. Another space that was waiting to be filled. And right in the kitchen — a room not often thought about for books.
Jennifer Ott Design added this to Eye-Catching Colors for Your Kitchen Floor
Keep in mind that you can always have a custom stain color made for you if you don't like the limited options available off the shelf. Check with your local paint retailer about developing your own color. Again, be sure to test the color beforehand on a hidden section of the floor to make sure you like how your wood floor takes the stain.
