Hi Katie,
Thank you for your question.
The countertop is a porcelain tile supplied by artedomus in Richamond - www.artedomus.com.

How did you manage the counter top joins? I can't see any so I image "very well"!

Hi Katie,

And if you or someone you live with is left-handed and you’re considering remodeling, thinking through natural logistics before you place furniture and appliances can also make a big difference. A dishwasher, for instance, might feel more natural for a lefty if it’s placed to the left of the sink, such as the one shown here. (Of course, it’s worth mentioning that since 90 percent of the population is right-handed, these kinds of more permanent choices might make resale a little more difficult, unless you’re planning to sell exclusively to lefties.)Install Your Kitchen Sink for How You Like to Cook and Clean

Carnell's Design … On the left or right side If you decide to position your dishwasher next to your sink, the next consideration should be whether to put it to the left or right. There is no correct answer; however, a right-handed person will hold a dish in their left hand and use their right hand to scrape or wash the dish, therefore making it easier to load dishes into a dishwasher positioned to the left of the sink. The opposite applies to a left-handed person.
