I'm surprised to read that the exterior color is Dunn Edwards Swiss Coffee - which is typically a very white color used for baseboards, trim and ceilings.

Yeah it is, but it also happens to be a great earthy white color that is a wonderful base for Spanish homes. That bone white looks great with that blue turquoise trim on many of the architect's other homes. Add some old brick and black doors and hardware - gorgeous.

The exterior is painted in Dunn Edwards' Swiss Coffee. The doors and windows are aluminum clad and come standard in that very earthy dark gunmetal finish.

Is it real stucco or a synthetic like Dryvit? I have never heard of Dunn Edwards. I am trying to find someone who has painted their stucco. Is the paint holding up?

To me there is something special about clay roofs. They remind me quite a bit of Europe and older times. They seem to last a very long time so they probably wouldn't be a bad option for a newer home. http://www.economy-roofing.com/services

It is a precast concrete chimney cap that was stuccoed to match the rest of the house and chimney.
