Franklin Street Loft - Bathroom Industrial Bathroom, New York

North and south exposures in this 3000 square foot loft in Tribeca allowed us to line the south facing wall with two guest bedrooms and a 900 sf master suite. The trapezoid shaped plan creates an exaggerated perspective as one looks through the main living space space to the kitchen. The ceilings and columns are stripped to bring the industrial space back to its most elemental state. The blackened steel canopy and blackened steel doors were designed to complement the raw wood and wrought iron columns of the stripped space. Salvaged materials such as reclaimed barn wood for the counters and reclaimed marble slabs in the master bathroom were used to enhance the industrial feel of the space.

Classic Clawfoot Tubs

The bathtub itself looks like a 67" cast iron slipper tub with imperial feet, although they do come in smaller sizes as well. We carry a few different sizes on our website in this style.

Tub King.com has a great selection of Slipper tubs and they custom paint. We paid 1700.00 for a REAL cast IRON Slipper tub 61 inch wish i had the space for 72 inch. Includes the Feet and all hardware all you need is the Plumber. Shipping was FREE.

Beautiful space! We are in the process of a very similar design, and would like to use brick on the tub wall, which is also in the shower area. Did you seal the brick in this photo? Did you use a special type of brick? Love this bathroom, nice work!

Hey There: We were not involved in this project but when it comes to window treatments/ fabric choices, you should always have the actual fabric and hold it up to the window you plan to cover. The fabric will appear totally different in natural light,
sun light and darkness - as well as the tint of the glass will change the appearance.

Shades by Design

Hey Maria Kovacs solar screen shade. Most common brands like Mermet & Phifer are resistant from water or mildew. Just make sure to remind your window treatment company that it will be exposed to being splashed or near water.
