While the basic elements of the original stairs remain the same the addition of a window and built-in bookcase as well as a new paint job give these stairs a nice makeover.

The finish on the treads are an alkyd satin. The paint on the walls is from the Donald Kaufman Collection by Pratt & Lambert.

Hello,
The paint on these walls are from the Donald Kaufman Color collection (by Pratt & Lambert). The color is DKC-27, Latex Eggshell. The trim is DK-5, Alkyd Satin.
Hope that helps!

Our paint schedule says that this is DKC-64 from the Donald Kaufman Collection in a Latex Eggshell finish. You might want to order chips since some colors were changed in the field. Good luck!

Sorry, this part of the house was a renovation and we didn't have anything to do with newels or baluster other than painting. The balusters are 1 inch square rotated 45 degrees.

Hello,
The stair treads and landing are painted. I believe that is Benjamin Moore's 1565 Mount Saint Anne.
Hope that helps!

Becky Harris added this to Houzz Tour: Beautiful, Hardworking Cape Renovation
The staircase received a makeover, with a new larger window installed to let in the light and a much-needed bookshelf to take advantage of the thick wall.Click here to check out this space before

Optimize your space. If you have the budget, skill and space to add a built-in shelving unit, do it. You will love having the extra room to store things.
