New Traditionalist Cottage, Kitchen Design Traditional Kitchen

As is the case with many older homes, the layout of this kitchen was slightly awkward. The Panageries team began this project by completely gutting the kitchen and reworking the entire layout. Stainless steel, Wolfe & Subzero appliances are situated to one side of the room, creating a much more practical space that is easy to maneuver when preparing meals.

We blended a light gray, Luce Di Luna quartzite countertop and Walker Zanger white, beveled subway tile backsplash with dark, charcoal cabinetry. The full inset doors and drawers feature polished nickel bin pulls and cut glass knobs. The small, upper doors sport restoration glass.

Hi
@sgirsh, thanks for your question! The tiles shown here are from Walker Zanger's Soho collection.
These white crackle subway tiles are 3" x 6" and have beveled edges, which gives them the beautifully dressy look. Walker Zanger actually featured this photo on their website for this product, which you can see at http://bit.ly/1PmkgoM.

Thanks for the question, @barnborn! Aren't the tall ceilings in this kitchen dreamy? They measure just shy of 10' tall.

Isn't it georgeous? It actually isn't marble, it's a material called quartzite called Luce Di Luna.

Thank you, weatherbetterhere! That’s a great question. The homeowners wanted the space to be as bright and buoyant as possible. As such, we’ve since added woven shades, but decided to leave it at that.
