I have a table with legs like this one from Crate and Barrel. It is 65 inches long. I would love to do a settee like this with it but I'm not sure what size to get. In order for it to fit under the table a bit it can only be 55 inches. This one seems a bit longer than the inside of the legs. I'm wondering when you are eating at it if you would be close enough to the table. because it is longer than the inside area between the legs? In other words, if I did it this way the guests would most likely have to sit forward and wouldn't be able to lean back. You normally scoot your dining chair in when you eat. My only other idea might be to put pillows along the back? Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I suppose it depends on the circumstance but for the most part we like only one bench so that it doesn't look too heavy or closed in.
