How wide were the tile spacers used for the wall subway tiles, and what color gray grout was used?

The back wall here is 9'-6". About 30" clear on either side of the shower (required for toilet), and then the shower itself is about 4'-6" wide.

We usually recommend grout as dark as a client will approve. Ask your installer to provide insight on which colors might actually lighten/wash out over time (some pigments are less permanent). All will get darker due to dirt in trafficked areas.

7. White subway tile with gray grout. This combination recalls ... wait for it ... the subway! It's a bit more Paris Metro than any other subway these days. Gray grout has answered a lot of our bathroom cleaning prayers; I'm so glad it has become popular again.
