this kitchen was built in 2004- 2005 the countertops are still in use. Galvanized metal was used throughout the house. This is a vacation home, so the lifetime of the countertop is still unknown.

If you like galvanized metal like these clients did, then you should talk to your builder about using it in your unique situation. If you want something more durable for everyday use, then there are a myriad of counter top surfaces to choose from!

Hello, thank you for your message.
There are several things going on in this kitchen that should be pointed out. The countertops are metal, like a commercial kitchen. The cabinets were custom made, so prices would vary depending on your cabinet maker. Open shelves are typically less expensive than cabinets, the rolling doors were added to relate to other rolling doors throughout the house, (the bunk rooms, the bedrooms).
