Most companies make blinds that can be lowered from the top of the window down. This way you can have light coming in from the upper part of the window but still have privacy. I bought some from a home improvement center for my master bathroom.

Typically tables are 29"-31" tall and benches and chairs are 18" - that's a good rule of thumb to go by.

They're from a couple of different places - CB2, Arhaus, and one other I can't think of at the moment. It was a while ago so I don't think they still have them.
