Stone will not be affected if you use either salt or freshwater This stone is PA flagstone and is durable. Hope this helps

Spa bott they are Crepemyrtle correctly pruned to expose trunks,They will loom in June with possibly pink white or purple flowers.Southeasterntrees.

Trunks sometimes cinnamon red bark,flakes in sheets to expose color.Chinese .All over the south,NC Georgia SC.

I'm also in the process of doing a patio around my pool. These look like a product by a company called Technobloc... I'm not sure of the spelling. Also, Cambridge makes ones like this also

This does not appear to be an indigenous Pennsylvania Blue stone! I believe there may be what we call Buckskin or Crab-Orchard mixed in - it is a beautiful combination. I would investigate your suppliers and select a mix that works dimensionally!
