I really love the packed English cottage look, but am cutting back to fewer types of plants, but more of them in the hopes of less maintenance.
My next project: Fixing the concrete steps, walls and balustrades. That's after I do the veranda roof and cut down all the tree volunteers over the Winter! ; )
About me: I garden in the Ohio River valley in a Z6b pocket with extremely high BS pressure. I'm currently working to restore the original 1914 garden beds and add additional features in a similar vein.
