This elegant dining room by Belfort Associate Designer Ash Morsi is another example of his design skills and eye for room composition. The original space lacked features and interest, consisting of little more than four blank walls and a table and chairs. It has now been transformed into an opulent dining room, suitable for family and friends’ one that is both traditional and inviting.

The first step was to paint the walls a rich neutral, complemented with contrasting trim and chair rail from a sense of timeless elegance. We anchored the dining room set over a richly hued area rug. Upholstered seating with coordinating fabrics and leather sets the mood and invites leisurely after dinner conversation for as many as 12. Finally, the rich woods, gorgeous fabrics and beautifully appointed buffet were tired together with a stunning chandelier. The homeowner has an eye for traditional quality, choosing Aico’s Essex Manor Collection for their dining set, a buffet from the Northshore Collection, a chandelier from Murray Feiss and a rug from Nourison.
