A recent relocation to Virginia from overseas left this Design Team client looking for a design more fitting for their newly constructed Vienna, Virginia home. Although their existing furnishings were bright and colorful, they did not offer the comfortable elegance the clients were desiring for their new location. In the family room, bringing the 2 story windows into the one story seating area was the first design challenge. Belfort’s Design Team achieved this goal by creating eye-catching custom made window treatments.

Dramatic black finished pieces were used to balance out the scale of the draperies. The result was a wall-balanced, harmonious space fit for a queen. The clients wanted a formal ‘wow’ factor for their living room that would incorporate their existing piano and art. By using textured upholstery fabrics that were soft and subtle Belfort’s Design Team was able to create the ‘wow’ factor her clients dreamed of. Embellished details enhanced the window treatments in this room as well. In the kitchen, Belfort’s Design Team’s suggested paint color added the much needed ‘pop’ of color to offset the cream-finished cabinetry. Again, the use of high contrasting window treatment fabrics finished off the room along with customized stools.
