This unique project came from renovating and adding an addition onto a seasoned house in Charleston's Old Village. This house was originally built in the late 1800's. In an effort to accentuate the historic elements of the house while adding more modern features we were able to breathe new life into these old bones. On the exterior we altered the spacing and size of the windows to make the facade appear more symmetrical. A porch was added to create a welcoming entrance that invites one to step into the home. The addition is proportioned so it compliments the existing house. We believe the finished home is visually well balanced and is able to speak it's antiquity as well as it's timeless design to all see it.
