We used the space that the remodeled duplex had been using for a kitchen and hallway as our dining space. While consideration was given to devoting an entire room to formal meals, we decided this transitional space would better serve our clients.

The exterior windows, doors, trim and siding were rebuilt in the areas where the wood rot or dry rot was extensive using the same materials and style as the original structure....

To embrace a more open plan we opened up the living room to the entry, kitchen and dining area. Here we used a beautifully calming moss green paint from Benjamin Moore. The combination of the subtle walls with splashes of brighter hues keeps the blah's away.
