70's redo
In this project a 1970s custom home by architect Richard Ridley receives a sensitive yet significant update through the creation of a new skin for the home and garage, new roofing, new windows, and a kitchen addition. The exterior envelope was greatly enhanced through the addition of spray-foam insulation and the new siding/windows, greatly improving the home's performance in terms of energy consumption.
The home was already a true modern gem, with tall light-filled interior spaces and multi-level floors. Through our involvement it is as current now as the original home was when it was built.
