In this large renovation and addition project executed while Ms. Ferreira was Project Architect at Resolution:4 Architecture, a Long Island colonial house is more than doubled in size and refreshed. Contemporary interventions improve and update the colonial house, while the addition borrows from the timeless materials its predecessor employs, including recycled historical brick. The end result is a cohesive, spacious and comfortable home.
