A Historic Wine Country Project
When the new owners of the home contacted Jim and Michael, they expressed their desire that the interior design for their newly rebuilt home not be merely a replication of the former home. Rather, the owners wanted the design to pay homage to what the home once was while also creating a gracious yet unpretentious and restful retreat for themselves. The resulting Ireko design combines classic mission style themes with contemporary, japanesque designs in subtle shades of grays and greens, preserving aspects of the home in many interesting and handsomely quirky ways but always with an eye to a livable space that maintains that understated Northern California feel.
