This space had an odd shape and the bed was not properly located in the room. The owner wanted to re-use her bed, therefore, we made it the central piece around which the whole concept revolved. We re-organized the space by creating three sub-spaces; a sitting, bed, and niche seating area. We also changed the ceiling orientation and added a ceiling plane and beam to better define the room space and simmetry. We custom designed the stucco details to resemble the headboard accents. The end result,the married couple felt they were arriving to a honeymoon suite.
