This project was all about working around the 'small space challenge' Located in Brickell, we made this condo feel more spacious for our DC lawyer client. We redesigned the kitchen, bathrooms, bedroom and home office next to kitchen. The dark wood desk was custom designed and is movable. The kitchen island provides storage plus hides office equipment and electrical connections, allowing client to work comfortably.

A vintage look was created with ceramic/wood flooring, while everything else is muted leaving the floor as the protagonist.

The ceiling design was key in creating a unique space, especially over the island. (Round ceiling detail feature for the pendant disk lamp over round top.)

Floor to ceiling bedroom door gives the sense of a wider space. The black ceiling in the powder room augments the sense of height in this small space.
