This Master Suite Addition, designed in a traditional Craftsman style in keeping with the rest of the home, was built to accommodate the needs of the home owners as they age. Swinging glass doors at the shower allow for a helper to assist with bathing. The herringbone patterned floor is slip resistant and goes directly into the shower area with no threshold to step over. Radiant heat flooring allows for warmth in winter. The laundry room in the bathroom makes for convenient and easy access. A hinged frosted glass pane allows for privacy at the toilet area yet swings open for accessibility. This project was designed in collaboration with Keely Brewer Interiors.
