This Long Island Sound bungalow was hit hard by Hurricane Sandy. Because of the structural issues with the house, the clients decided to rebuild. Since the clients are philanthropic and host large parties, the porches on the ocean side of the house were enclosed to create better flow, which expanded the views of the water on three sides. The entry staircase which block views of the ocean was moved to create an expansive view of the sound.
