This 4 bedroom 3 bathroom home is located in the heart of Alamo, CA. Before we started this project, this home was outdated and in need of a master bedroom/bathroom remodel. We added a total of 700 square feet to the home. In the master bedroom suite, we installed custom built-in cabinetry and an in-wall TV setup. This project had its difficulties; the owners had us change the 8 ft. ceiling to 10 ft. in the master bedroom and bathroom. The clients did not have access to their backyard from their bedroom, so we installed French doors to give them this option. We added a coffered ceiling, and crown molding with lights to brighten the new detailing. In the shower area in the bathroom, we added a steam unit and used hand-picked marble tile for the detailing. A sunken tub and custom built-in cabinets were added to the bathroom. We added 100 square feet to the laundry room and gave the clients access to it from their master and kid’s bedroom. With this remodel, we changed the flow of this home significantly. Now, the master bedroom and bathroom flow smoothly into the master closet and laundry room.
