The combination of durable rusted corten and wood sidings provides visual interest and highlight different forms. A solid guard wall with corten siding was added at the driveway, creating privacy. Longer roof overhangs and awnings shade the windows and break up the building facade.

The entry mudroom has ample storage in the custom reclaimed wood and metal mesh equipment lockets. Pass through the mudroom to reach the sliding powder reclaimed craftsman-built barn door. Inside the powder room is a custom hand-forged concrete sink.

The entire roof was removed and MWA, Inc. had the overall plate height raised, giving the space a much higher open ceiling. A loft was added with custom crafts-made bookshelves built from reclaimed wood. The ladder leading to the loft conceals additional storage.

The large sliding doors open onto the decks and allow for indoor-outdoor living and entertaining. The large stunning fireplace creates a focal point without distracting from the views. Hidden shelves are ensconced on the side of the fireplace, providing additional storage out of the way.

Large windows in the dining room offer obstructed views of the mountains. The light fixture was custom designed to fit the scale of the room without obstructing the view.

The master bedroom is warm and relaxing. Closet barn doors made from reclaimed wood give the space a rustic style. The window seat is the perfect spot to rest and read a book.

A cozy bunk room means plenty of room for family and friends to visit. Fun rope handles on the built-in drawers add a personal touch.

This guest bathroom has a large double trough sink incorporated into the design of a reclaimed wood vanity. Wood look percelain tiles are perfect in a wet environment with the visual warmth of wood.

In the remodel, a solid guard wall with corten siding was added at the driveway creating more security and privacy. A new addition enclosed the original entry bridge and increased the interior space.

Before the remodel, the living room, kitchen and dining room were segregated. The ceilings were low, the spaces were outdated, lacked character, and were not very conductive to entertaining.

The old entry bridge was cave-like with darker siding, a low roof, and a lack of natural light. Originally the entry was uninviting and appeared precarious.

Prior to the remodel, the dining room was located on the other side of the home- away from the views. The new dining room was relocated to a portion of the addition. Large windows in the dining room offer unobstructed views of the mountains.

The remodel used an open plan concept, connecting the living room, kitchen and dining area. This created the perfect place for entertaining and spending time together. The heavy timber posts and wood ceiling bring warmth and character to the spaces.

The original dark living room was replaced with a wider open space. The new higher ceiling allowed for the addition of large windows and sliding doors that showcase the mountain views.
