Andrea Bonfils is a contemporary multi-media American artist, who lives and works
between Connecticut and New Mexico. Bonfils’ practice includes mixed media,
photography, sculpture, and encaustics paintings (beeswax and resin). She is driven
by a desire to evoke sensation, play with our perceptions, and investigate the
convergence of nature and humanity. Her works have been exhibited in various
museums and in the Permanent Collection of the Museum of Encaustic Art, as well as a
variety of global private and corporate collections including Tiffany & Co. UK, The Blake
Hotel, Four Seasons Encantando, The 1 Hotel and Merx Aviation. Andrea has
completed over 100 commissions and presented in numerous solo and group shows.
