We had a blank slate to work with on this one. The client wanted the tilt out vegetable bins on the end of the island and that was the inspiration for the entire kitchen. We decided to go toward a simple farmhouse look and a few steps into the project we decided on adding the reclaimed wood and this is the end result. The client having a brother that is a custom cabinet and woodworking artisan was very helpful.
