This project involved removing a "garden tub", framing a new wall left of the 2-sink vanity to create a large, walk-in/wheel-chair accessible shower. We also removed the door that had swung into the room and hung a barn door to save space and increase ease of use. We also built a small ramp, with tile, leading up into the shower. We added support blocking behind all grab bars. The grab bars and towel rack are special-order oil rubbed bronze hardware. We also tiled the entire bathroom including the toilet room, as well as added a grab bar there too. We've created a new user-friendly bathroom/shower for our client.
