Nearly 600 years ago these incredibly hard limestone flooring tiles had to be split by hand instead of sawing them into pavers. Due to this hand hewn technique, the resulting pavers varied in size - contributing to it's classic beauty that we cherish today. After we've reclaimed them however we have meticulously re-guaged them piece by piece down to 5/8" in thickness so people can once more utilize them inside and outside their home without any technical limitation.
Thanks to the generations who resided in these old bastide and châteaux, the ware and tare of our ancestors has refined the surface stone patina and have morphed their magnificent top layer into the dream-scape stone it now is.
