When new owners hired SPACED OUT to perform an ADA modernization to this split-level residence, we discovered that the problems were more than cosmetic. This house had suffered numerous renovation attempts in the past thirty years causing electrical havoc and layer upon layer of poor design decisions. From a commercial drop ceiling to a popcorn ceiling to plaster and sheetrock, with the ability to turn 360 degrees and see 7 different flooring materials used, the only consistency was in the yellowed paint and brass hardware. We prioritized the client's goals and brought symmetry, consistency, and enhanced functionality to this home.
