This was an interesting little project. The home owner wanted us to convert an old barn into an art studio and a small garage.

We started by tearing down pretty much everything except one wall, this allowed us call it a remodel and not new construction.

The building has some nice touches such as standing seam roof, Half round gutters, James Hardi siding, 1 ½” thick tongue and grove pine flooring on the 2nd floor, spray foam insulation and cedar walls and ceiling on the interior.

A split system heat pump was installed that is very efficient and cheap to operate.

Custom built cabinets inside for the owner’s art supplies round out the project.
