The design of this home began as a traditional log cabin style with timber, exposed beams and cedar shake roof and originated with an Aspen architect. As the structure starting taking shape, the client sought more of a clean, contemporary approach. The lines became crisp and modern and external materials evolved to beautiful vertical cut Mankato Gold limestone with a mahogany entry to provide a warm welcome. The end result provides the feeling of a beautiful boutique West Coast resort where all the client has to do is arrive, and be ready to kick back and indulge.
