Auburn Remodel

This residence underwent a major renovation to its public areas during Phase One. We just finished Phase Two and will have photos soon!
Before
In order to access the bedroom, you had to go up three stairs to the foyer, and then down three stairs to the entry to the bedroom which was on the same level as the living room.
Original Living Room
The original coffered ceiling was 2 feet deep and had no lighting. New LED lighting was adding and the ceiling was lowered to make heating of the space more efficient.

Before
The client did not want to remove the existing cabinets, but did want to reface them. We repainted all the boxes to look like Cherry and added new Cherry doors. We also modified the appliance garage to the left of the refrigerator to look more interesting than parts from a roll top desk!

Cabinet Detail
Sliding doors replaced the old roll-up doors. Corbels were added to give that section of the kitchen cabinets a "hutch" feeling.

We needed a place to put the family upright piano, so we eliminated this cabinet.

The original entry to the game room to the left of the stairwell was closed up. A door was added at the upper entry and a private office was created!
