Meadow Vista Residence

This is on ongoing project that is being done in phases. Most of the home is perfect, but there were areas of the home that needed immediate attention for the new homeowners.

Before of television area off kitchen and adjacent to laundry room. There was a free -standing wood stove in the corner that had been removed.

We removed a closet that contained a side-by-side washer and dryer and added a sink (plumbing was there). We also raised the existing window counter to 36" to make the area more functional. It had been a craft room.

The existing cabinets were moved forward in order to accommodate the extra space required on the opposite wall for the television center. The new doors to the left of the counter allow easy access to the television components.

The washer and dryer were originally located behind bi-fold doors which made access difficult and the counter was only 30" high because the room was also a craft room.

This was the dated and tired powder room. It's style was not in concert with the rest of the Asian inspired home.

The new powder room is now in keeping with the Asian inspired home.

Original Entry Doors
The original doors were of poor quality and had clear lites. This door was designed to give a nod to the "Cloud" detail on all the interior cabinets and new architectural semi-transparent glass was added to provide privacy.
