With a busy family of five, the homeowner wanted a larger more airy space for the family to gather. The adjacent dining room wall was knocked out providing more natural light and entertaining space. The dark cabinetry was replaced with glazed custom white cabinets and beautiful crown details. Light granite countertops and custom tile backsplash provide a seamless backdrop to give the overall space a larger feel. A full size paneled refrigerator and freezer provide needed food storage with this growing family in addition to several custom built in storage cabinets throughout the kitchen. The large center island is perfect for the whole family to gather for a meal, do homework, or entertain a crowd. Multiple chandeliers provide a touch of glamour and much needed lighting throughout the space. The former dining room now opens up to the kitchen and was transformed into a classy sitting area with built in shelving and wet bar.
