When we met our clients they expressed to us how they were looking for more outdoor usable space. They had no shade cover on the back patio area which was just rock.
We were able to transform the backyard by adding an attached pergola that was attached to the house on each side. We followed by pouring a concrete slab underneath that with a built-in barbecue station and prepping table. We added in large amount of artificial grass, concrete steppers, some iron trellises on the back block wall. Some low voltage lighting and decorative rock. Finished off with some hardy Plants, Trees and some cactus. We boxed in yhe retangular shaped grass area by using a border with a modern concrete curb look and added some drainage.
