This is a great project that we did for clients that needed to solve multiple issues. Drainage; making their backyard kid and adult friendly; reduce the slope/grade and in general, to make the backyard an extension of the home. We used a combination of thin and building natural field stone, capped it with flagstone to create the walls, colonial slabs for the stairs and irregular flagstone to creat a destination point patio for the adults. We then sodded the area with an improved turf type tall fescuse sod.
