Almost everything in this area was repurposed. The glass-fronted cabinets were painted a quiet gray/blue to contrast with the weathered wood and exposed rafters. The wood on the refrigerator/freezer doors was once a backyard fence, and in keeping with the "no fuss" approach, I used Liquid Nails...

Every so often, the raw structure itself is a photo op. The rafters and the corrugated tin are visible from the open staircase.
