The owners of this beach home asked us to transform an otherwise plain walk-out basement into an area where the family and guests could store beach accessories without tracking sand and dripping water throughout the rest of the house. Keeping with the Cape Cod style, the doors, cabinets, trim, and bead board were painted white and the walls an aquamarine color.
