Basement Renovation Innerkip

Unfinished 1400 sq.ft.basement was designed to accommodate storage, office, kitchen, playroom, games area and TV viewing. A header beam was added to allow us to open up a kitchen area for easy viewing of the TV while sitting at the table. The table can be used for eating or card playing. A frosted set of french doors were installed at the back of the kitchen area giving access to the storage area. When a light is left on in the storage area the kitchen appears to be on the main level (like a full length window).

This is the area dotted out that we put the bar/kitchen in.

Across from the kitchen/bar area and near staircase we put in a basement childrens playroom with french doors that could be closed. This is later intended for a guest room.

This is the recessed basement area we designated for the childrens playroom that could be closed off with french doors. Later it will be turned into a lower level guest bedroom.

This is the main lower level family room. The enclosed stairs are at the end behind the photo grouping. The door on the far right is game storage. The large TV & fireplace entertainment unit are to the left and wrap around behind me and the bar/kitchen area is recessed in to the right.
