Lower Level Renovation

Lower level renovations designed to hide stairwell protrusions and make area functional. Modern Wall unit designed and TV/fireplace unit to create a clean functional space for relaxing

This is what I was faced with to make look better. The wood shingled area is a staircase going to the upper level from the upper living room. It projected 3' into room leaving the space below unusable. The other projections hid plumbing, vents and supports.

Lower Level Renovation

This is the custom wall unit with the upper doors fake to hide the stair projection. The side units upper doors also hide angled venting from the furnace behind. A heat vent was incorporated in the unit, as well as lots of storage.

Lower Level Renovation

I illustrated my proposal to use a built-in wallunit with fake upper cabinets and side doors to hide all the projections. I suggested adding a gas fireplace and drywall the room.

Lower Level Renovation

This is the fireplace/TV unit designed and installed for the space. My client kept their furniture for now until budget allows them to be replaced.
